Reminder to submit what you’re doing to celebrate Earth Day to our Earth Day 2020 contest! Though we are not in our schools, as a community we can still mark the occasion by joining our collective efforts and celebrating this important day. Let’s share the efforts our students can take at home, by showcasing how simple and concrete actions can lead to a positive impact on the environment. From April 20-24th, we invite students to participate by submitting a digital format of their actions to Earth Day 2020 Entry Form. Please note, when submitting, participants will need to use a google account. This requires a Gmail e-mail address. For those that do not have access to their google account, submissions can be e-mailed to Joan Yawney at yawneyj@suburycatholicschools.ca.
The entry form can be found at the following link: https://bit.ly/34Fw6Ic

Today is Holy Thursday, the day of the Last Supper, the washing of feet and the betrayal by Judas. It also marks the institution of the Eucharist and the Priesthood. For parents looking for videos to share with their children, please follow the links below.
During this pandemic, and to help encourage people to stay home, Andrew Lloyd Webber has opened up the streaming of his many musicals, one at a time for 48 hour period each, on YouTube. Search “The Shows Must Go On” and enjoy the wonderful shows. The first is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, a story based on Genesis Chapter 29.
